On the subject of drawing

I was always interested in drawing because i wasn't good at it. It doesn't make that much sense that I would really like doing something I could never get the hang of but I kept trying anyway. Anyway practice makes perfect i guess.

Recently though i haven't been doing much at all in traditional artwork or art in general. I never really learned how to draw using all those basic shapes as guidelines (Which didn't help my art at all). What finally dragged my back into this would be My Little Pony Friendship is Magic art. I guess i spent to much time in the depths of the internet and this show was the first nice thing i had seen in awhile. So thanks to Lauren and the rest of the crew for making such a nice show for everyone. I'm going to try to get back into practice and finally learn to draw using guidelines and all those shapes and hopefully improve my art along the way. For now though what i post will probably be digital artwork from my graphics design class.

I probably wont post any pencil drawings i make (Except for the ones somewhere in my profile that are awful) because my scanner is not particularly good at what it does.
